Trip down to Puerto Peñasco for Thanks Giving and took some pictures on the beach. Unfortunately the camera I used was set at 640×480.

This used to be a Safeway until the late 1980s when they moved from to here
from here
Notice the marina style ceilings. This store just got a new paint job inside. It has offices on the east side of the building (to the left, up front of where I’m standing) and even blue tile leading to the offices. Restrooms in the backroom. one entrance and exit that sticks out a little with automantic doors that swing open. Even a few old medal safeway carts (as posted in my photostream)
Over all, while this is an old store, it is still a nice one.
7-3-2010 UPDATE: The signage has since been updated. I’ll try to get a new shot soon.

This old Safeway opened in June 1968 and was replaced by the location at 2525 Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway during the spring of 1989.

Interesting. I figured it was from eirther the late 60s or early 70s. I knew the TV highway location had have opened in the late 80s or early 90s as i already knew the esplanade was completed in 1989
